9.45 am - Reception of the group and choice between:
• The National Museum of Archaeology
Overview of the archaeological collections tracing the life of man from the beginning of time right to the middle Ages.
or
• The Maurice Denis County Museum- the Priory
Located in the old royal hospital, the Maurice Denis Museum holds the works of Maurice Denis- the theorist painter of the Nabis School, as well as a collection of symbolist and post-impressionist paintings and art-work from the Pont-Aven School (Brittany).

Choice between 2 walking Tours
• Louis XIV: the Sun King in Saint-Germain-en-Laye
The history of the royal property will be explained through a presentation of the “Old Castle”, the “New Castle” and the different gardens down to the Seine River. The high points in this visit: the well-known Terrace designed by Le Nôtre and a walk in the characteristic streets and alleys of the city with its historical dwellings.

• Squares and Dwellings in Saint-Germain-en-Laye
Wander through historic streets to hear stories about the houses still standing which lent their stones to the protection of life in the Royal City.
And
• The Claude Debussy Museum
On display at the composer’s birthplace, you will find some of his personal belongings and historical documents pertaining to his life, his work and his artistic affinities. The guided tour will be followed by listening to a sampling of Claude Debussy’s works.
6 pm – End of the trip.
